Private Postural Yoga  - 55 minutes

Postural Yoga is designed to minimize chronic aches and pains by bringing your body back into balance.

Through genetics and habitual patterns, we are all in misalignment. These imbalances are a big cause of chronic pain in our bodies and will eventually lead to injury. I will assess your postural imbalances and then utilize a combination of rolling and yoga based stretching and strengthening to restore balance. This work will prevent injuries and allow you to keep doing all of the activities you love.

I also incorporate breathing, meditation, and relaxation techniques to help you manage stress.

Private Somatic Yoga - 55 minutes

I am Intermediate Level 3 Somatic Experience Practitioner. Somatic Experience is a form of therapy that works with your nervous system. Instead of focusing on your thoughts and “stories”, we work with sensation in the body as a way to process trauma, stress, anxiety, or whatever is bothering you in the moment.

Somatic Experiencing® is a body-oriented approach to the healing of trauma and other stress disorders. It is the life’s work of Dr. Peter A. Levine, resulting from his multidisciplinary study of stress physiology, psychology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, indigenous healing practices, and medical biophysics, together with over 45 years of successful clinical application. The SE approach releases traumatic shock, which is key to transforming PTSD and the wounds of emotional and early developmental attachment trauma. SE offers a framework to assess where a person is “stuck” in the fight, flight or freeze responses and provides clinical tools to resolve these fixated physiological states.

Somatic Experience is a great compliment to traditional therapy or as a stand alone practice. I incorporate meditative and restorative yoga techniques into our sessions to help to balance your nervous system. It’s a revolutionary practice that can offer life changing benefits.
