Open Heart Practice - Backbends
Peel back the sheaths (koshas) that block the heart from true bliss with an afternoon of backbends. Practicing from the outside in, we will work through the physical and emotional layers of the body to tap into our heart (anahata) chakra.
This workshop will take you slowly and carefully through your backbends, guiding you into more advance postures in a safe and fluid manner. You will leave this practice feeling lighter, energized, and more emotionally open than when you first came in.

Sweet Relief – Hips
Happy hips not only require flexibility but also strength. Open hips bring about a sense of emotional release and keep our movements fluid. Strong hips are vital for support in our every day activities. Amy will guide you through a hip sequence that will properly teach you both of these actions. Learn unique alignment techniques that will changes your hips forever!

Amy’s yoga/hiking weekend retreat was a great time! It was the perfect combination of relaxation, exercise and fun. Doing morning yoga at the AMC lodge while looking out the windows at the mountains was beautiful. Hiking the Crawford Notch mountains later in the day was challenging, yet rewarding. I would definitely recommend it to students of all levels!
